File privacy & retention

Guest processing
Many tools let guests upload or process files without an account. Processed outputs may be stored temporarily so you can download them. Treat public download URLs carefully—do not share links to sensitive results.
Signed-in documents
When you are logged in, some editors can save documents to your account (for example PDF drafts). Those files are associated with your user ID and appear under My Documents.
Retention
Inactive saved documents and temporary files are subject to retention settings (commonly on the order of about 30 days for inactive docs and shorter windows for temp files). Exact values can change via platform settings—do not assume perpetual storage.
Deletion
You can remove documents you own from My Documents when that feature is available. Clearing browser data does not always delete server-side files.
AI features
Text you send to AI tools is processed by configured AI providers to generate a response. Avoid pasting secrets, personal data you should not share, or confidential documents into prompts.
What we do not claim
- We do not claim files are “never stored.”
- We do not claim absolute security or zero risk.
- We do not claim end-to-end encryption for every tool pipeline.
